POSITION SUMMARY

The Regional Relationship Manager is responsible for driving advisor growth, asset expansion, and operational excellence across an assigned territory. This role focuses on recruiting experienced financial advisors, accelerating asset and revenue growth, implementing cutting-edge technology solutions, and helping advisors build highly-effective teams.


The Regional Relationship Manager partners closely with Lead Advisors to increase profitability, improve efficiency, and redesign their practices so they can continue to grow income, reduce working hours, and focus exclusively on high-value, revenue-generating activities while eliminating low-revenue, dissatisfying, easily delegated responsibilities.


 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Advisor Recruitment & Retention

  • Identify, recruit, and onboard experienced financial advisors aligned with firm standards and growth objectives
  • Develop strategic recruiting plans within the assigned region
  • Support advisor transition processes to ensure seamless integration
  • Foster long-term advisor relationships to drive retention and engagement Asset Growth & Business Development
  • Partner with advisors to develop and execute asset growth strategies
  • Support client acquisition and retention initiatives
  • Analyze production metrics and identify opportunities to increase assets under management (AUM)
  • Collaborate on business development campaigns and centers of influence strategies


Practice Management & Team Optimization

  • Help advisors design and build effective team structures that maximize productivity
  • Implement best practices in delegation, role clarity, and workflow optimization
  • Assist advisors in eliminating low-revenue, frustrating activities that dilute profitability
  • Guide Lead Advisors toward focusing on fulfilling, profitable, client-facing activities


Technology & Innovation Leadership

  • Drive adoption of cutting-edge wealth management technologies
  • Identify workflow automation opportunities to increase efficiency
  • Train and support advisors in leveraging CRM, planning software, and digital tools
  • Promote scalable systems that support long-term growth


Strategic Consulting & Coaching

  • Serve as a strategic partner to Lead Advisors
  • Provide practice management coaching to increase income and reduce time burden
  • Conduct regular business reviews and performance assessments
  • Align advisor goals with measurable business outcomes


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field (advanced degree preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in wealth management, financial advisory, or practice management
  • Series 7, 66 or 65/63, and preferably a Series 24
  • Proven success recruiting and developing experienced financial advisors
  • Strong understanding of AUM growth strategies and advisor economics
  • Demonstrated experience implementing technology solutions in advisory practices
  • Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills
  • Ability to travel within assigned region
